100% Merino Wool Scarf - Black

Our 100% merino wool scarves are designed to make you love being warm, all winter long! I knit these scarves on a Passap manual knitting machine in double-knit to make them extra thick and durable. 

Merino is a breed of sheep known for its especially soft wool, and the yarn used to make this scarf was prepared using a process that removes the smaller, itchy hairs, making it remarkably soft and resistant to pilling. Our merino is grown in Australia, milled in the UK, and hand-dyed in-house in Seattle, WA.

Wool creates a cocoon of warmth around the wearer that wicks moisture away from the body, making it a great choice for mild to cold winters. Our merino wool scarves have more structure compared with our 100% baby alpaca scarves, giving them a thicker, more substantial feel. If you prefer something thinner and lighter, please consider one of our alpaca scarves.
